I'm the kind of customer contractors HATE to deal with... can't be fooled and won't put up with any baloney from anyone. I typically know their job as well as they do and am extremely demanding about design and technical implementational details! Mostly they'll just run away or overbid the job to where I HAVE to turn 'em down. But, Todd Keuper and I came to an understanding very early on and kept in close touch throughout a rather complex bathroom-refurb project. We exchanged annotations to his Estimate via e-mail which proved very efficient... with every step plainly documented in the event future disputes would arise, which fortunately never did. Moreover, Todd & his "boys" seemed to mesh well with my admittedly temperamental bluntness and screwball schedule. I wanted to poke my nose into EVERY aspect of what was going on-- like the pain-in-the-ass spacecraft engineer I used to be at NASA, and neither the work suffered nor anyone's ego. We all got along just fine, and for all the "trouble" I caused and will probably always cause I think I got a GENUINE BARGAIN from this Firm. I would not hesitate to use them or recommend them again! A serious client could do far, far worse hacking through the Yellow Pages for "Remodelers," and I almost did... twice! Todd ended up beating out 6 local contractors-- the ones who actually did me the courtesy of coming out to view the worksite. And when my next such project comes up in a few months, THERE IS NO QUESTION WHOM I'LL BE CALLING UP FIRST: Keuper Construction!
